Meet laura everhart
Laura earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota and has been a pharmacist for over 25 years. Most of her career has been spent caring for the people in our beautiful Upper Peninsula communities. Her passion for helping patients feel their best and a strong desire to bring something special to this rural area is what inspired Laura to found Elle Jay Aesthetic Studio.
The studio provides a multitude of unique beauty and healthcare treatments and services designed to improve skin, nail, hair and overall health. Elle Jay services begin with consultation and education and end with improved confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing!
Laura’s team is excited to offer medspa & salon treatments close to home and to realize her vision of offering an elevated experience where all patients feel comfortable and welcome.

Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Dana has been practicing nursing since 2006. She received her Nurse Practitioner license in 2020 and has provided care in a variety of clinical areas. She believes that aesthetics is about treating the whole person. Her focus in every appointment is to understand her patient's goals and lifestyle so that she can help them feel their best at every age. Dana has a passion for enhancing natural beauty and providing patients with knowledge to assist them in their aesthetic goals.
Aesthetic Nurse
Being in the medical field since 1994, Michelle has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 2000. She has cared for all ages and in many specialties. Being an Aesthetic Nurse, Michelle will give attentive, compassionate and personalized care. She is committed to comprehensive assistance and providing education. Michelle is passionate about aesthetics and will listen to your concerns to create the best plan for you!
Cosmetologist | salon manager
Jennifer has been beautifying her clients for over 20 years. She has owned and operated her own salon for much of this time and has a very loyal clientele spanning multiple counties. Jen is a highly skilled stylist whose clients fully trust to make them look and feel their very best. Her extensive business and cosmetology experience make her the perfect person to manage Elle Jay salon, where we strive to make you your best you!
Cosmetologist | stylist
Oyuna has been practicing the art of beauty for over 10 years. She trained under Jennifer Lancour at her salon in Naubinway. Oyuna specializes in nail care and looks forward to meeting all of your hair, skin and beauty needs!
Kenzie graduated from the PM School of Cosmetology and Art Sciences in Escanaba Michigan in 2024. Her advanced training in artificial nail enhancements, manicures and pedicures has prepared her for a successful career at Elle Jay and she is excited to bring her services to the studio!
Sarah studied and graduated from the Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage in May of 2019. Sarah has built her own successful massage therapy business and has provided massage therapy to clients from Rapid River to Naubinwa

Tammy studied and graduated from Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage May 2016. She specializes in lymphatic massage and cupping and is also certified in animal massage. Her love for foods and holistic healing drives her on adventures to learn how to: Love your Body! Stay balanced!
